Through September we are showing contemporary painter and printmaker, Jackie Russell.
Her practice exploring atmosphere and memory through abstraction of lived experience. The oil paintings are built intuitively through layers of rich impasto and translucent glazes.
The contrast between heavily worked and delicate surfaces creates tension, depth and ambiguity.
WILL AND YATES is an Art Gallery + Interiors Shop on the High Street in Deal, Kent. We bring together art and interiors: original paintings and prints, ceramics, vintage and new pieces... simply interesting things that work well together.
