Caroline Yates RCA
For five years Caroline has had an ongoing personal challenge to deconstruct her work, moving away from prescribed, illustrative methods in favour of a more visceral, physical, and subjective approach; some pieces hung, drawn, painted and quartered, only to be reconstructed with collage, stitch or other means.
Following completion of her MA at The Royal College of Art in 1995 Caroline worked as a textile designer and illustrator. She started painting full time in 2000 and completed further MA studies in fine art printmaking in 2001. In addition to exhibiting at galleries and art fairs internationally, Caroline has completed commissions for a number of large corporate companies and many luxury London Hotels.
