Ann Gardner

Ann was born in 1964 in Bedford. She attended Bedford High School for Girls, leaving in 1982 after gaining a place at The Slade School of Fine Art. After achieving a BA (Hons), 2:1, she gained a postgraduate place at The Slade to be started in 1987. From 1986-1987 she won The David Bailey Scholarship in landscape painting which she took in South West France.

After leaving The Slade in 1989 she won the Boise Travel Award taken in New York. she then taught at the New York Studio School in New York.

Since 1990 she has lived as a professional painter showing her work mainly in London. She regularly undertake commissions, both landscape and portraits. She has won many prestigious awards and her work is in private collections in London, Paris, Italy, Portugal, Texas, New York and Switzerland.
