Liz Hough

Liz was born in 1966 and obtained her degree in fine art at Manchester Polytechnic followed by a post graduate diploma in Painting at the Royal Academy Schools between 1988-91. Between 1997-8 she studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Perugia, Italy.  She has exhibited extensively since 1989 and received the Daler-Rowney Award in the 1990 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Creswick prize for Landscape painting in oils and Landseer Scholarship Prize for Compositional Studies in Oils.  Her work is included in extensive public and private collections worldwide including TSB, Paintings in Hospitals & Bank of China.

Liz uses collage, painted papers, acrylics and oils to capture the essence of a place and teaches in the UK and around Europe.
